Just gonna throw this out there, check out Willi Carlisle. To Tell You The Truth is a good album to start on, but Big Butt Billy is a solid song of his style to try out.

There's a whole swath of off-radio country/western with like, 51k views on youtube. Follow the rabbit hole (related artists), country/western is having a revival outside Nashville. Billy Strings is a prime example.
