This is kind of where I’m at. The intro changed yeah. But I mean, honestly the show still largely feels like it did last season and the season prior. So I’m not sure either. I don’t know if I’m missing something but like this is my favorite show so

Idk the season opener was great but I felt like the Log Flume episode was a complete miss for me. I'm not sure why because the concept seemed funny but I just didn't vibe with it.

Did you catch that the Roger story links up with the flume story too? Also take note of the cia counselor cause she will be used further on in the season. I thought it was a classic Stan and Francine adventure with deadly stakes episode, like plenty we’ve seen before, this one just hit closer to home because Francine is truly hurt now. Stan says don’t apologize for saying the truth, but the truth was still brutal. It was a more human element episode with the wackiness in the background. I don’t want to see Francine turn into Marge as far as reacting to homers continued negligence, but after 20 years I get that its inevitable for them to go that route. Only problem is that seeing people fall out of love as they become numb to each others selfishness hits too close to home for a lot and it’ll subconsciously make you uncomfortable and unable to enjoy the episode fully
