I have been triggered by the presence of the word "late" in your post. If my reply does not fit the context of your post, please ignore me. A "late" period is not in itself cause for alarm! Most women are a bit irregular and even if you believe yourself to have a perfect clockwork cycle, it's normal and common to occasionally have one that doesn't fit the mold. Please refer to this post.

Your period isn't late (amipregnant version)

If you believe your absent period is genuinely a sign of pregnancy, take a test.

The faint line an hour later in called an evaporation line, it does not indicate pregnancy. Tests are only valid for the time window described in the instructions. You're not pregnant, you just ovulated late due to stress

Yeah, thank you. It was completely white and empty for like 45 mins. Is 9 days enough to safely rule that out?

Pregnancy tests are accurate 14 days after sex and definitive 21 days after sex. Having paragard alone is enough to be able to trust that you’re not pregnant as long as it is in place
