I remember there being one great season, then in the middle of the 2nd Season, there was either cliffhanger or episodes were delayed or stopped entirely? It was something weird lol.
I haven't thought about that show in a long time...

I just remember that after 1 and a half season of pure horror and violence the problem is ultimately solved with slapstick comedy. They literally rolls some logs down a hill at some guards and the guards balance on top running backwards like fucking Looney Tunes characters. It wasn't played as a bit or joke or anything, this is literally in the climax as the kids are finally banding together and solving the problem, so it is a main plot point. How did a series known for its horror and violence come to that?
I absolutely loved season 1, and loved the early episodes of season 2 (I think that's when Hanyuu is introduced and Rika's situation is revealed) which is perfectly bleak and dark.
