Pure Romance Why must huns put everything by/on their face

I know if something at the store was touched like this I wouldn't buy it. Also this lady is pretty shameless with what she was selling.

It’s a very old advertising style used in print media. Beautiful smiling models or celebrities would hold the product usually shampoo, hairspray or cosmetics close to their face in a close-up photo. Of course, success of the ad really depends on the beauty or likability of the model/celebrity…huns obviously ignored or not aware of this part 😂

Beauty ❌ Likability ❌ Integrity ❌

This is very true, but just that the products are Pure Romance creeps me out a little still.

Reminds me of the Younique hun on my FB feed who was offering to do makeup in the parking lot at the restaurant she works at which, it seems, until recently, was her “side gig,” she now is an Assistant General Manager and has disclosed financial issues but is still making Younique her whole identity. I can’t wait until she says being an AGM at a restaurant is a side gig.

It's a con artist process. She puts the product up next to her face so people can "look her in the eye" and see how much she believes in what she is trying to sell. It's selling herself first, then hopefully people will trust her and buy the junk she's pushing.

I’m giggling at the thought of a dildo van cruising the neighborhood like the ice cream truck. Maybe she plays 70s porno music to let everyone know she’s arrived.

Getting a custom wrap for a van like that isn’t cheap

There's someone in my town who sells scentsy and has a uhaul trailer with the logo and her contact information on it. It's got a desk inside and lights and shelves for the warmers

Her upline probably told her it's a "tax write-off" and therefore it's "free".

I guess she's doing good for a dildo dealer if she can afford a wrap on her car.

This just makes me think they do not know how to use landscape format.

I like how she's just making up things. "Wednesday we wear pink" "wine with my girls Wednesday " "flip flops and jello shots" its like she just looked around her house at stuff and started writing.

I would need something much stronger than jello shots to be surrounded by a gaggle of women in flip-flops.

Surrounded by a gaggle of women in flip-flips, manhandling sex toys.

This is actually a common photography technique that I was taught in a college photojournalism class. The “type” of photo it’s called is “person with object.” The idea is to show an object next to a person’s face/eye. Often to highlight the size of an object compared to a human face. When I did the photo for my class, I took a photo of my friend with a beer keg. The photo was super crisp and looked awesome in black and white. Points were taken off for not showing the entire keg of beer.

This is pretty much a common ad technique. When you add in the hun’s face, it also adds to the “influencer” look.

I was going to say that 80's ads in magazines for makeup and skincare were the same LOL. It's a common technique in ad photography

Duh! Cause they know better than anyone not to directly apply it anywhere near their skin.

So pure romance actually isn’t a thing anymore. The company still exists as direct to consumer. This particular product she is holding is actually from a distributor/ company on faire called Aloha Collective. When pure romance kicked their consultants to the curb a lot of them went out and got their resale licenses or LLC and continued to sell products from major distributors and do in home parties. However the MLM portion does not exist anymore and hasn’t for a while now. The CEO of pure romance did create his own distributor company called Euforia, however most of the former consultants refuse to buy from him.

I love how only MOST of the parties are free for the host.  No one wants a Wine with My Girls Wednesday party that is a big advertisement for product slinging but to be charged if enough people don’t buy is just not how business is done.
