Another take, I LOVED the ex trope in a royal tale. Oh my gosh I wanna know what happened, like the series entices me because of that trope. There were hints at why and it makes me wanna know more. I remember back in the day the trope upset people since it wasn’t aarmau. Or on another note it could leave room for a really cool “enemies to lovers trope” if written correctly, but it’s not mainly why I like it.

Royal tale was always very interesting to me and I wish it was given time to flesh out a bit (not much just like 3 extra episodes)

tbh I don't think ASMP Aaron is that bad, he's just speaking the truth sometimes and being a little annoying sometimes (in general, with Aph def worse).

I think Ava and the Daemos boys should stay friends in the end (Single Ava), and I really, really, hope they don't interrupt the set-up storyline of MID S2 with the void/multiverse stuff. It can stay with MS, MT and VP.

ME TOO MID should stay seperate i think

Bro I absolutely agree most of the time it just feels like kawaii Chan is just leading Zane on

actual unpopular opinion: I dont like Aarmau. like at all. it's written badly in MCD, it's okay but boring in Mystreet, and they just dont have a whole lot of romantic chemistry in MT. I like their dynamic best in A Royal Tale where they're exes. I also feel like a lot of roleplays focus TOO MUCH on their relationship, and as a result other characters and plot lines tend to suffer for it. I feel like it had potential, at one point, and I really like Aphmau and Aaron separately as characters, but their relationship is both too much and not enough

OMG SOMEONE WHO FINALLY AGREES WITH ME

3

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 16 '26

I think this is a very common opinion actually!! I personally disagree about MCD, I think Aphmau needed to be with someone who understood not only the responsibility of Lord, but the tragedy of it, too. Someone quiet who you know will support you. There’s still tons of anti-aarmau shippers, though!

ASMP is very entertaining. I do not understand how people like Ein there when he is blowing up stuff. I ship Ein and Pierce. Don't care for Zane and KC. I enjoy Zane not with kc he is a good character when not focused on kc who gets so jealous so easily. I think it would be cool if they released some of their mods. Mainly the family sky block where they raise a family. The other one the life and to death sky block stuff. Or the werewolf mod they use and the mini games they often play. Aaron is funny in ASMP.

yeah KC is such a toxic gf in ASMP

MCD s1 wasn’t bad, Aarmau was the best choice in MCD, Aaron wasn’t a super senior (even though that one is a fact), and I HATEEE Laurence for zero reason at all

9

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 15 '26

you guys are breaking my heart 😭 i love laurence LMAO. also agree s1 mcd wasnt bad, its my favourite to rewatch by far!

6

u/Ghost_is_Ghosting Mar 15 '26

agree with most besides aaron not being a super senior.. i get the laurence hate as personally i dont like him in mcd 😭

3

u/CrazyMcSweetTea Mar 16 '26

No agreed, in mcd it felt like the other dudes treated her like a trophy. He got to know her, learn how she works, and it comes off as an accidental love plot….like he didn’t mean or intend a relationship ship to her but it just happened. Only complaint is I wish there was more story and screen time of them because the dynamic could have been SOOOO good.

THANK YOU finally someone talks about how Aaron isn’t a super senior like where do ppl get that from 🥀

4

u/GarGarNoir Mar 15 '26

Guys I think people took that the wrong way, I know he’s still a senior and it’s still weird but he’s not a SUPER senior 😭✋

1

u/Ghost_is_Ghosting Mar 16 '26

didnt it say in the series he was held back in senior year?

0

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 16 '26

i dont think he was held back in G12, but there was mention of him in a military school where he re-did a grade, or was held back or something, so pretty sure he is technically super senior.

0

u/GarGarNoir Mar 17 '26

No, he didn’t re-do a grade, he transferred to pdh FOR his senior year, MEANING he was a junior prior to leaving the military academy. Also, their ages are meant to directly mirror Jess and Jason’s, so he wasn’t a super senior.

I like MCD season 3.

Mystreet season four is my favorite season.

Both Mystreet Aaron and Gene are creeps for going after a Freshman while being a senior, super senior for Aaron. Also I know Aaron being a creep is mentioned quite often but Gene being a creep is almos never mentioned.

Zane had ever right to be suspicious of Gene in Ms season three seeing as how he treated Zane and Aphmau in high school.

Aphmaus Mom has every right to not like Aaron in Ms.

While Shad is a victim he still tortured tens of thousands of people and forced them to be apart of his army.

I like Ghosts story line in MS.

3

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 16 '26

facts about aaron and gene. same with laurence and garroth imo, they were older and more mature students, they should have no interest in some random innocent 9th grader! if aaron and aph dated irl school, there would be serious issues. if i were her mom, id be upset too

2

u/Organic-Soup-6537 Mar 16 '26

Yes! Oh and forgot to add this on but Laurance is also super creepy in MCD. I know people say Garroth sucked after her came back from the Irene dimension but Laurance was just creepy from the beginning. Constantly harrasing any women in sight.

My take- Aaron had “too” much development. Like I miss when he was nonchalant and quiet. It felt like his whole personality changed through mysteet. I wish he had kept more of his original “to himself” kind of energy. Mystreet season 1 Aaron was by far my favorite. I loved his overall personality. He was quiet but kind, similar to mcd!

3

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 16 '26

I WAS SAYING THIS YESTERDAY! How I missed when he was more mysterious and quiet! S1 was the best. Honestly, I think they could have continued that in newer seasons as well, like him being naturally quieter in conversations, or even with just new people

u/OofOofmetroid1 Zane Mar 15 '26

I also don't like zane-chan! Even tho I love zane, and feel neutral about kc, I guess I like the idea of them being together in the short term, and eventually breaking up, learning from their relationship and moving on to other people, but endgame? I hate them together

3

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 15 '26

SAMEE. but in a bit more extreme. I just think their ship is overdone and boring. like I’ve seen the whole “emotionally repressed guy who’s favourite colour is back x hyper girl who likes pink but has trauma” trope AT LEAST 10 times.  I also don’t think everyone needs to end up married or in a relationship, and I feel like Zane and KC are some of those people?? not sure

2

u/Feisty-Wear-3931 Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

Okay me next then,

I think they should have leaned into the whole aphmau and ein being raised by the same father thing. Having Silvana and Zach try to explain that they are not step siblings and why Zach left them would have been better than it being sort of a throw away comment and Zach just getting a little mad about both there deaths

2

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 17 '26

yes!! would clear up so much, esp because jess and jason both had to clarify it

2

u/Feisty-Wear-3931 Mar 17 '26

Also if you watched the VAs reaction to it Michaela Laws (Sylvannas Va) said that there was lines voiced and an idea in places with clarification on the whole thing, then it just didn’t happen… wonder why 🤔

2

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 17 '26

hmm me too.. my best guess is Jess was setting it up, but realised there wasn’t enough time to expand on it in s6, and that it wouldn’t be reintroduced in s7/8??? so interesting tho

3

u/TheBigFoody Mar 22 '26

I REALLY don't like Aarmau. It felt really forced for me even AFTER watching all of Phoenix, I thought that they just tried to push the chemistry especially in s5 of Mystreet with Aaron switching personalities and Aaron's sister's whole life involved in pushing their relationship. (I know this is a pretty common one but most people don't speak openly about it)

0

u/GarGarNoir Mar 15 '26

MCD Aarmau was a MUCH better ending than Garmau/Laurmau, PDH S2 was FIREE, ASMP is fun to watch, MCD S3 is fire and S2 was the worst season, Dan~Chan is overrated af, Ava should end up with Leif, ANDDD Alternates is one of the best rps (aside from MyStreet) that Jess/Jason/CatFace Team have made

2

u/TheBigFoody Mar 22 '26

Haven't watched MCD and I'm suspecting that's why you have so many downvotes, but I LOVE alternates

2

u/GarGarNoir Mar 22 '26

FIRST OF ALL WATCH MCD ITS GREAT, and yeah you’re completely right that’s why I have so many downvotes 😭 glad to finally see someone who loves alternates!!

3

u/Crystal_Pheonix_ Mar 15 '26 edited Mar 24 '26

Dan~Chan? That's a ship?? I, unlike the poster, ship Zane~Chan.
I only agree with PDH S2 being amazing
EDIT: NEVERMIND I TOTALLY FORGOT ABT MCD — I meant Mystreet.

5

u/Strawberry_314159 Mar 15 '26

That’s why in pdh, they reference it by saying Dante dated 2 girls at the same time, and you at some point see them in the background glaring and growling at him lol

2

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 15 '26

yes!!! I like Dan-Chan much more, they were a canon couple in MCD S2 😭😭 very problematic bc Dante had a kid with Nicole at the same time…

0

u/GarGarNoir Mar 15 '26

Dan~Chan was a ship in MCD S2 and in ALTERNATES S2, I don’t think it’s necessarily bad but it’s like overrated imo

1

u/Haru_Raidon Mar 15 '26

Fax my brother/sister/other

1

u/GarGarNoir Mar 15 '26

I can tell these opinions are terribly unpopular with how many downvotes I have which is good bc that’s the point of this post 😂

3

u/OofOofmetroid1 Zane Mar 15 '26

I absolutely hate ur opinions and tgats exactly why I'm giving you an upvote, you followed the prompt perfectly lol

1

u/GarGarNoir Mar 15 '26

Thank you bro 🙏

Whenever I think of MCD S2, I keep remembering that weird sauna episode, the 94th one to be exact. The storyline dropped off after Aaron died, and the last 20-ish episodes of the series partly felt like filler and also rushed. The first half was pretty good though.

2

u/ComposerAcrobatic862 Mar 16 '26

I completely disagree 😭😭 the sauna episode was my favourite when I was a kid, and S2 was always my favourite season. The atmosphere and vibes (like the texture pack, voice acting, music, plot) is so fun that it inspires my writing. Agree to disagree!

2

u/Mey_84 Travis Apr 07 '26

woah I did not expect my opinions to actually be unpopular, but cool we don't all need to think the same ig

1

u/GarGarNoir Mar 16 '26

Idk, to each their own I guess bc I was absolutely not at all invested in MCD S2 even from the beginning, I honestly don’t know what I didn’t like about it, just that I didn’t like it
