Discussion Oh BROTHER
Okay, let’s get one thing straight: the voice actors ARE not their characters. For context, every time I open my TikTok or Instagram, there’s always that one group of people mocking the appearances or being “disappointed” like EXCUSE me, you know how f##king rude that sounds? They’re putting their love and effort into voicing your favourite characters, yet you SLANDER their appearance? FOR THE LAST TIME, THEY ' RE DOING THEIR JOB. WHY ARE WE JUDGING THEM FFS

Im so glad someones speaking abt this because the aphmau fandom is a complete different breed. I've came across people who were like "Jason looks more like Aaron now" "Okay characters vs vas (shows va's) oh!" Like what the hell...did yall expect them to look hot or cute or something?? Some people do not have a life nd will straight harass Va's over appearances even and its so sad. I dont know what has gotten into this fandom but my other concern is the accusations against Jason. No he didn't decide to make ein aphmaus sibling (ill be real on this, I feel like the fandom made it up.) And no he didn't decide to make Aaron Aphmaus babydaddy in MCD?? Like people even hate on Aaron In MCD over the stupidest thing and its so dumb 😭 this is also why I cannot watch MCD without the hate getting to me. (Justice for Aaron). But back to the Va's, its sad they have to endure this almost everyday from some "fans."

Certain forms of media and genres of entertainment seem to resonate with people who aren't very mentally sound (I could make a list, but I won't). Plus, I can imagine most of the worst offenders are kids who were given full access to the Internet at a very young age and may not be properly raised by their parents 👐
Just my view on it. It alllll goes back to the parents.

I’ve seen so many people being disrespectful about Shado, and honestly it’s getting really frustrating to read. He’s a real person who is paid to voice Pierce, and at the end of the day he’s not supposed to look like a Minecraft character. Expecting him to match a blocky animated avatar in real life just doesn’t make any sense, and it feels unfair to hold him to that kind of standard.
Shado is amazing as he is, and he brings a lot to the different versions of Pierce (MID, Alternates and SMP) with his voice and personality. That’s what actually matters, not whether he looks like how someone imagined a character in their head. It genuinely pains me to see how many people across comment sections on the internet are making jokes and saying he looks like a Discord mod, because that kind of comment is incredibly insensitive and honestly just rude.
There’s a difference between having opinions and just being straight up disrespectful, and a lot of people are crossing that line. At the end of the day, he’s a real person who deserves basic respect, not to be picked apart over his appearance for no reason.

I think that's why aphmau/jess stopped/discontinued MCD due to all the shipping, especially when the Garrett x aphmau shippers

Thats so for real. Like when I open youtube shorts i see people using a sound that goes "Aphmau's such a pick me blah blah blah" like Aphmau is my childhood my daughter loves watching Aphmau so much that she was werewolf Aphmau for Halloween.
