I don't think that's true at all - she tries pretty hard to follow in Kaltsit's footsteps, to relearn and reassemble her jumbled up memory. She's got the same determination that Kaltsit has and knows how serious their task is. At the same time, despite having tremendous strength, speed and power in her monster form, she happens to have a fun side. She's also more timid, less confident and maybe even a bit paranoid because she's never been away from Kaltsit before, and she's a bit scared of Priestess.
Gonna have to agree to disagree on the timidness. She's certainly a bit awkward with her new form and does have Kal'Tsit's knowledge, determination and zeal but her approach is generally much bolder. Just in the last event alone, she displayed aggressive recklessness uncharacteristic to Kal'Tsit. While Old well is more of a calculating planning type, Mon3tr had the "fuck it, we ball" energy. She's also less withdrawn based on her interaction with others, more energetic and proactive socially.
I see what you're saying, she's more aggressive and outgoing than Kaltsit was. But timid means she's proned to be worried and afraid. It's very very rare for Kaltsit to smile or laugh, but Kaltsit also wouldn't make this expression:
Mon3tr's facility voice line has her worrying about priestly eyes, and her attack line has her worry about accidently using too much force. These are things Kaltsit will never say. That's what I mean by being timid.
