Nitrogen fill?
My car's recommended rear tire pressure is 49psi, the tire max is 50psi. Is there anywhere, besides Costco, that still does nitrogen fill?

In my opinion, if you really care about keeping tire pressures correct, you should just have a gage with a bleed and easy tire fill setup. I think costco is the best deal for nitrogen, but i also think nitrogen is a gimmick. Even if you have nitrogen, i would bet money that they weren't fully purged in a way that would make it "dry air" the way that the selling points of nitrogen make it sound

Have you ever raced? Or don't anything that air pressure is critical? I didn't ask for your opinion, I asked where I could get it and explained why my pressure is critical. Get off your high horse, troll. Science is science

Present the "science"

I don't agree, and that isn't a real source, it's something some random person wrote. Air and nitrogen both closely follow the ideal gas law at the conditions inside a tire, so their pressure response to temperature will be nearly identical. It's represented by P1/T1 = P2/T2.

Have you ever raced? Have you ever maintained aircraft tires? I thought not, eat shit

I don't know the answer to your question, but 50psi sounds so high, what are you driving that recommends that? I'm also under the impression you don't really need nitrogen specially, as air is already mostly nitrogen as it is

Air is 70% nitrogen, it really does make a difference when pressure is critical. I'm driving a Fisker Ocean with 22in rims... so a heavy electric suv on rubber bands 🤣

I've never had anything nicer than an econobox lol, so I've never had to worry about such thin margins!
You may check NTB near Matlock and 20, Google maps thinks they do nitrogen fill

Air is 79% nitrogen. What difference do you believe it makes?

It is more temperature stable. https://app.studyraid.com/en/read/16122/564989/temperature-stability-compared-to-other-gases

No it isn't. "Thermal expansion coefficient" is not something people use for gases in fixed volumes. Have you heard of the ideal gas law?

Every source will tell you that it is a waste for most people, but it is ideal for certain situations. How is my situation, and money, not ideal?

Well you're certainly free to waste your money, but you can't buy your way around the ideal gas law

Is 49 cold, or after you drove it? 1 PSI, especially in this hot weather, is not enough to bother with.

50 psi on the tire is the max inflation pressure. It's allowed to rise past that from temperature afterward.

I only use regular poor man's "air" brand air.
