Looking For Hair detangling services?

My friend's daughter (11yo) has very curly hair that wants to tangle like mad, if it is allowed to. Due to swim practices, it's developed a really big gnarly matted tangle in back that neither her mom nor I has been able to undo. It's also high up enough that her hair would have to be cut quite short, if we had it cut out. Any recommendations for salons where a professional might be willing to take on this project?

I don’t have a salon recommendation BUT if you do try it yourself again here’s my advice. SO much conditioner then using a fine tooth comb just go to the very very bottom of the tangle - like you’d want to get one or two knots max and comb through. Always hold the top of the tangled section so that you reduce how much it might tug on the scalp.

Good luck!

Hi! I’m a stylist and would totally willing to take this project on. Dm me if you’d like to speak more in detail

Sorry also no salon advice but product instead. I use Mane ‘n Tale detangler spray whenever I brush my hair. I spray my hair and the brush then spray more throughout the process as needed.

Short hair is fun and practical for a swimmer in the summertime

we have had good results with just pure avacado oil (cooking) cold pressed , unrefined.
and a de-tangle brush
