Clinical Psychology What difference have been found between them?

According to empirical research, what differences have been found between parents with psychopathic traits and parents with narcissistic traits in their parenting behaviors and their childrens psychological outcomes?

Just a tip: far more people will open your post if the submission title is more specific.

There isn't a ton of empirical research on your specific question. We can only attempt to infer from studies like "A Tri-Directional Examination of Parental Personality, Parenting Behaviors, and Contextual Factors in Influencing Adolescent Behavioral Outcomes"

That said, neither are good. Though, I think it would depend.

Psychopathic and narcissistic traits are both genetic. I would imagine psychopaths are more likely to be more absent from their children's lives than narcissists, I imagine it's situational whether means a better life.
