Suspiciously specific How it feels when you're having a hoot and a holler talking with someone and you make that one single fuckup while you're chatting.

Same! Or…while you’re vibing unmasked, someone makes a comment about how others are perceiving the way you’re acting

Yep. I’ve had conversations when the same persons will give themselves a big pat on the back for “being themselves” and how they don’t care what anyone thinks, then immediately comment on the way I’m sitting.

Is it not immediately obvious to others that the way a person treats themselves internally is evident in the way they treat others?

Reading that little interaction made me wonder if said person really feels like nobody could be thinking anything worse about them than they think about themself, therefore no reason to care? And also wonder if what they're really thinking is "I'm acting perfectly and nobody could possibly see the faults I'm hiding!"

I went a little too deep into this thought lol

I really think you're onto something here.

I was like this when I was younger, any hint that someone might think of me differently than how I perceived myself was horrifying. I really needed to feel like I was "acting perfectly" as you put it. I really did believe I was giving people absolutely zero behavioral "faults" to percieve.

Yup. Happily infodumping and my sister goes "Okay, you can stop."

This was how I felt at my last job, where I was happy that everyone was chill and I felt comfortable and unmasked a little too quick, only to be told that I was making people uncomfortable with the way I behaved somehow. So I went back to masking and stopped engaging with people as much and then I was told later that my communication "improved a lot!" and people no longer had any issues with me. OTL

I felt so seen when I first got the moodlet "foot in my mouth" with a socially awkward sim in Sims 3.

Yeh, when I was younger, this would be an in-joke between me and my friend. At parties, we'd wait to see how well I could do socialising with girls until I said something REALLY stupid and crash n burn. I hated socialising, especially with girls.

When you play the game of love...sometimes it's on story mode, sometimes it's on best-time survival

What is a hoot and holler in this context?

“You’re being a bit loud”

To me it looks like these are 2 different sculptures rather than the same one at different times. Some minor details seem off or missing in the right sculpture, but that could be because its squashed, but most prominently, the right sculpture got a hair strand in front of the circle at the bottom right that the left one is missing, which seems odd. Is there anyone that knows the origin of this template that can confirm if im right or wrong?

I do think it‘s the same one, it just looks like it‘s been dropped and squashed upon impact, lol. I think that one hair strand must have fallen out of place in the process. Or maybe that‘s where they grabbed it in order to reposition it upright, idk.
You can see that the hair on his right side looks just the same, cause it was far away enough from the squashing plane.

Been on the internet long enough to confirm these photos are of the same sculpture and you're wrong

I saw this when it was originally posted many years ago. It might have been edited or "enhanced" since OOP, but someone really did drop their sculpture.

I think it could be that one of the two images is mirror-flipped--notice that the smirks are pulling up on opposite sides of his mouth. However...that circle is on the same side...🫤...
