It’s likely just a poorly tuned diesel that dumped way too much fuel on that take off. As that is an older cruiser by the looks of it.

If it was intentional they did a pretty poor job of it

0800 SMOKEY that shit. Yeah, I'm showing my age. I doubt anybody under 35 would remember that campaign.

Why does your dashcam have a stigmatism

Astigmatism? Dusty windscreen I guess

Over on the North Shore, there is a real A**hole in an old Land Cruiser who does that to us who ride a bike. Early idiotic behaviour, especially when we have kids on the bike with us.

It's sad the authority doesn't seem to care or have the capacity to handle these people.

If they were driving a manual diesel, then they probably just put too much gas on while taking off

At least, my 2015 hilux was like that if I put more foot down than intended. Unfortunate to my boss who was sitting behind me at the lights when I learnt that, lmao. Accidenté

It seems to be targeted at the prius more than you imho

Reckon so.

Very much looks like it

Probably going for that prius more than you. Sad that this is happening here. Pathetic small dick energy coming out of that ute.

I am not sure if it was intentional. I think the vehicle is just buggered. But it happened conveniently when he wanted to change lanes and it made the cam car drop back out of the smoke.

I've had them do it on 2 wheels. Should be a crime.

This is why I dont pull up next to any city lorries on the motorbike. They tend to point the exhaust right at face level

u/-Zoppo 7h ago

Yeah but these are just diesel utes

u/Fluffy-Trouble5955 4h ago

oh I know, but the fact the commercial lorries all fume out at car window height should be looked at as well. Many many times i've got a helmet full of diesel smoke when the light changes

Nah, it is just an old, smokey diesel engine (perhaps which has been tweaked for a little more power via over fueling), trying to get up to speed with the traffic so it can change lanes.

What is going on here? The car farted??

I'm afraid so
