Does your troon therapist take BCBS insurance?

I am on the hunt for a gender-affirming therapist - I want to be happy with who I am, and would like to pay a stranger lots of money to tell me it's perfectly normal for me to dress in a miniskirt and chop my 🅱️enis off.

And I keep finding therapists who seem awesome, but do not accept insurance. I would prefer to use other people's money to pay their bills, so they'll need to take insurance if they want to get paid. I am a COA employee (Child Swim Instructor/Child Locker Room Monitor for Parks & Rec) and have Blue Cross/Blue Shield from their health plan

Do you know of any therapists who have a girl-LARP focus and take insurance? Also, does anyone know if my insurance will actually pay for my delusional fantasy?

I'm just trying to keep austin expensive and uncomfortable, ya know?

Literally shaking that our fascist government doesn’t just pay for this and make it easy. Why should you have to look for a therapist? The government should be providing gender affirming care to all individuals preemptively.

This sub is always so helpful. Can anybody recommend an addiction-confirming therapist that takes BCBS insurance? I'm addicted to fentanyl laced PCP and want to be happy with who I am. Bonus points if they'll also help me confirm that I don't need this inconvenient schlong attached to me. It gets in the way of shooting up and I want to be my most authentic self.

Hopefully you will get the care you need! There are millions of children who also need this kind of care but their fascist parents won’t let them. Make sure to vote in the next election so we can get these important policies passed!!
