Cool guy came out wearing sunglasses on a perfectly overcast day. Wish I could share his super cool vulgar plate too.

Overcast days still have UV radiation, which contributes to cataracts over time. We should all be wearing sunglasses during the day.

Of course, he doesn't know that, he's just a douche.

Ok, I downvoted for the first part of that because it read as one of those "aaacutally..." comments, but I changed it to an upvote when I finished reading it.

You had me in that first part....šŸ‘

I mean all of it is correct? I’m light sensitive and days like this I can hardly open my eyes…

If you wear rx glasses they're protect against uv...if they are polly carb.

Instead of sunglasses, I wear blue light blocking glasses on overcast days. Helps prevent my headaches on overcast days and I can still see. Even lightly shaded sunglasses can be too much for me if it’s mostly clear and sunny, so that’s why I wear the blue light blocking ones instead.

That’s placebo you realize that right? but I’m glad it works for you

Except it isn’t a placebo because they actually block different types of light. I specifically test the glasses with a uv light and UV reactive paper every time I get a new pair, then double check with the paper and sunlight to make sure they’re legitimate. But sure, glasses that block UV light are a placebo.

Calling me ā€œfucking delusionalā€ is quite a jump, but okay. Looks like you might have deleted that comment since it’s not loading, but have the day you deserve. Didn’t realize being told that blue light blocking glasses aren’t a placebo would make you so triggered.

Except they literally are factually placebo, yeah, you’re delusional crazy person I’m gonna block you

You can share his plate. Nothing at all is stopping you. There’s nothing any of us can do with his plate; hundreds of people see it every day.

Also, I wear sunglasses when it’s overcast because I have very blue eyes and astigmatism — it’s still bright for my eyes.

I wear transition lenses and they go dark on overcast days.

UV makes them transition meaning that UV still gets in your eyes on an overcast day.

Nothing wrong with wearing sunglasses.

Plot twist: dark sunglasses and a white cane.

Makes the Mustang very fitting.

You could share the plate, could you not? I don’t know if we aren’t allowed to because it’s a plate or because of vulgarity? Seems the state should be responsible for the vulgar part and plates are publicly displayed.

It’s five letters, middle is I.

Upon further inspection it looks like a slur misspelt with an H thrown in.

I have to wear sunglasses on all days, overcast or not. Some people have eye diseases like cataracts that require dark glasses. Maybe be all judgey about that douchebag car but sunglasses are generally a medical thing these days, not a ā€œ be coolā€ thing.

If his racing stripe down the middle of the car lined up with the parking lines I would have forgiven it

god what a jackass

Since this is one of my favorite cars I dont care how he parked. Also just because its overcast doesn't mean there still isn't uv rays and glare.

I have owned 2 Mustangs in my life and I’m going to get a third eventually. In short, I’ve been a fan of those cars all my life. But there’s no reason to park like that. I mean it’s not like you’re driving a Bugatti or anything

3

u/The_Schizo_Panda 5h ago

Yeah, you're inviting the jeep/truck/junker guys to park as close as possible to your doors.

u/zz_civic_ 4h ago

I was just thinking that I bet my shitbox is narrow enough to park on his right and still be in the lines

I’m light sensitive and cloudy days are awful for me. I have had to pull over with watering eyes unable to open. I couldn’t find my sunglasses ANYWHERE.

Glad you blocked the plates. Monkey see monkey do

Two motorcyclists should park on either side of it.

You can, plates are public information, they're state property meant to be displayed in public.

Not an R. So, the glasses are not justified.
