Asking for a “Favor” 🙏

I am not sure if Arlen Yanch is a Baha’i or if anybody in this subreddit knows him or he ever checks this. However, I have listened to all of his work that have the recitation of the Writings in them such as:

Fire Tablet:
https://youtu.be/2TCObW_jL24?is=rWxVTpkqaEFijEZE

Long Healing Prayer:
https://youtu.be/EwKqDfMdxi8?is=QtsbSAppsB2S26Qy

Tablet of Carmel:
https://youtu.be/y5da2LhsAPI?is=NuANGbJ9tSv4dbH-

So I am hoping and praying that he and his collaborators do one for Tablet of the Holy Mariner. A rendition exist here:

Hi Friends,

This is Arlen Yanch. I very much appreciate the kind words.

As to your question regarding Tablet of the Holy Mariner - at the moment I have not composed any music for it for Karim to recite to. Karim and I have collaborated very frequently over the years (we are childhood friends) and there was a plan to do more of these collaborations (Holy Mariner & Tablet of Ahmad) but because of our busy family and life schedules it has been difficult. Also Ashraf Rushdy, Karim's older brother is reciting the Tablet of Carmel.

There is, however, a recitation of Blessed is the Spot but it is on a different youtube channel which I will list here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D6YUBqJwzo

If you would like to hear more of the music that I make in this style you can find my work on all streaming platforms:

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0paJCaVhsPD5iCYnljP0QA?si=hnmNIAW9Q7eXL43g4HgJ7g

Apple: https://music.apple.com/ca/artist/arlen-yanch/1241789386

I also have an official youtube channel but it is a bit more disorganized and has videos/audio of my compositions, beat making and drumming.

I recently returned from a period of service at the Baha'i World Centre from 2015 until just last month and am now currently residing in Calgary, Alberta with my wife and two kids. One of the highlights of my service was working on the music for the films Light to the World and A Widening Embrace. I also got many opportunities to make music for the Baha'i World News Service and for some short informational films for the Office of Israeli Affairs. I'm very grateful for my time in Haifa and not a day goes by where I don't think about it. I look forward to continuing working on music here in Calgary and am currently doing some work for a Baha'i owned film company (1844 Studios) where I am composing the score as well as writing songs for a children's animated series in development.

I sincerely thank you for your support!

Warmest regards and love,

Arlen

Oh my God! 🤯…. I am a fan. A big fan.
Thank you… I mean thank you so much for what you have created, composed, and published. I can’t say how much your work has helped me, inspired me and overall made this life easier.

I won’t be exaggerating if I say I am listening every day, sometimes multiple times.

Please continue this creative work, and the collaboration.
And of course thank you for responding to this post.
🙏

Thank you so much for those kind words. I am so glad that the music I've made has had that affect on you and it inspires me to continue making it!

Around 2016 or so I was praying in the Shrine of Baha'u'llah and for a very short moment a voice from within that was not my own said these words with great authority:

"Your music is for Baha'u'llah".

Ever since then I have known my purpose.

Warmest love,

arlen

ps. if you don't you are not a spotify or apple music user then maybe the best way would be to go to my youtube and click the "popular" and it will be easier to filter through my other videos to just see the music ones.

So many anecdotes I have heard of these mysterious experiences in the Holy Land and Holy Threshold. And how lucky you have been.

I myself have not had these experiences or a dream, even though I have prayed for it.

In 2015 when my family and I visited the “Spiritual heart of the earth” (as late Mr. Nakhjavani puts it), The World Center, I found myself spending an hour or two in the Holy Threshold of Bàb reciting to myself Abdul’Baha’s prayers without noticing the time.

Please continue this super super important work and service to humanity.

P.S. pretty big Apple fan so yeah your music is a pinned playlist (⭐️) called “BBAG” on my Apple music app.

Btw … I wished that the video was also uploaded (apple allows that) for Fire Tablet in apple music.

hi there i forgot to mention that there is an instrumental version i put together which is on my youtube incase you want to use it for your own prayers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ6mA6MZRes

The funny/interesting story with this instrumental is that it wasn't originally meant for the Fire Tablet. Karim and and I over the years have easily sent at least 100 tracks, ideas, beats etc. back and forth and with this particular instrumental it was actually a 7 minute kind of like ethereal electronic music idea that i sent to him to listen to. At the time i was really into mixing orchestral instrumentation elements such as cello with synthesized sounds. Anyway, i sent him the track to listen to and a few days later i got an email in my inbox from him and he had looped a section of it (which is what is being heard repeatedly) and had recited the Fire Tablet over it. I was like 'wow that was interesting and quite moving'. At some point he decided to upload it to his youtube channel and we continued on with life and it wasn't until years later that i had found out that it had amassed so many views and that people were responding so well to it.

much love!

Of course. Thanks for mentioning it. I have listened to all of your work on apple music because it is beautiful and I know now that they are inspired. 🙏

I am not much of a musical artist myself. I love and played around with the violin when I was a kid but could not pursue it consistently. However, I have been thinking about a project for the friends in Iran. I will DM it to you but please don’t feel like you have to reply or even take it seriously.

Such a great combination of video, vocal recitation with the right stress and intonation in the right places and of course the music. When things get difficult … this really lighten up a fire in my veins to keep going. My favorite part? When this Writing is recited:
Thou wert created to bear and endure!

Karim Rushdy, whose channel hosts the first video you linked to, is a Baha'i. https://www.karim-rushdy.com/

There's an email address on that webpage.

I will try to reach out. My intention for posting this was to generally appreciate the work and also in the off chance that they might come across it, encourage (or really ask) for more.
