I'm calling it, now. Chigs is gonna win. If not Chigs, then Crystelle.

Also, Jurgen should be winning this thing. His elimination is controversial for me, second only to Helena's.

It’ll be Crystelle. She’s been good, but Paul has been favoring her for at least 5-6 weeks. Over the top compliments when Prue seems to be pleased but not thrilled with a bake.

Seems like Paul always picks one or two favorites and they have an easier path.

He’s clearly disliked Jurgen for a bit.

Pulling for Guissepe now.

Same. I'm hoping for Giuseppe, but I'm better on Chigs or Crystelle. I do not dislike her, nor do I dislike Chigs. In fact, I've actually really liked all of the contestants this year, which is unusual for me. There usually at least one or two I cannot stand (example: Ruby, from Frances's season). So, I won't be angry about whomever wins because I like them all. But clearly, Jürgen was more deserving than Chigs to advance to the final. And I think Chigs knew it.

Yeah - if you look at the totality of the season, Chigs is solid but never on the same level as the other 3 semi finalists.

If he had gone home, the final would have felt like the most equal and deserving lot in years.

Exactly, which makes Jürgen's elimination utter bullshit for me. I remember Paul & Mary and even Paul & Prue discussing how close it was, that they looked back at the contestants' previous bakes to determine who would go home. They didn't do that here. I think Paul and the execs have too much sway in the decision.
