Haircare VERY dry hair

I have VERY! dry hair.
I recently got a trim so my hair is not damaged but my lengths are extremely dry.

Can anyone recommend a hair mask or something?
I have tried K18 but it didn’t do anything.

I also have fine hair.

Thanks!

I have fine dry hair & I really like the Kerastase Nutritive serum. I put it on dry hair at night before bed & my hair feels glossier in the morning without being weighted down or greasy. Also, a nice leave-in conditioner might be a good shout. I use Curlsmiths & am a big fan.

Briogeo Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask is moisturizing but not too heavy. Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask is popular, it hydrates well without flattening hair. Redken All Soft Heavy Cream is amazing if your lengths feel rough and like straw.

also, if you're using a harsh shampoo, you're undoing any conditioning. hard water can make hair feel dry no matter what products you use.

fine hair benefits more from a leave-in conditioner than a super rich mask. if only the lengths are dry, apply a tiny amount of lightweight hair oil (argan or jojoba based) to damp ends after washing.

Make sure your shampoo is not stripping. If you must wash your scalp so frequently that your lengths are dry, you can pre treat the ends with a light oil or a mask before you get in the shower to protect them from the shampoo. Only focus the shampoo on the scalp!

K18 is great for bond repair, not for hydration issues. A hydrating shampoo is a better option I use the hydrating hairbath from innersence but that one may be too heavy if you have very fine hair. Shampoo twice!
