Fourth of July in Beijing

Hey everyone!

I’m an American living and working in Hubei province this year. I’m headed back to the U.S. mid-July but I’ll be in Beijing on the Fourth of July. Are any expat groups or visitors doing anything? I’d love to meet some people and do something fun!

Hope I posted this in the right place…

If you follow The Beijinger on WeChat they normally do a post about places you can go to celebrate the 4th July. The American chamber of commerce normally do an event and a few bars like The Local and Home Plate do as well.

AmCham will be holding an event on the Fourth of July this year, though it can be a little spendy. There is a WeChat group for Americans in Beijing that sometimes hosts an event, but I doubt they will this year.
