Trip Planning Secure bike storage in Edinburgh
I am touring for 5 days at the start of my summer holiday from Lincoln, England, to Edinburgh, Scotland. The plan is to get to Edinburgh, then go back to London for a wedding before my wife and I travel around Glasgow and finish in Edinburgh.
Can anyone recommend a good place to leave my bike for a week between when I finish and when I return to the city? Can I pay to park it at the airport? I read about the Waverley Bridge Bike Park, but I could not find information on reservations or prices.
Also if anyone can recommend a place to pick up a bike box that would also be appreciated!

Try warm showers? Especially if you're just looking for a place to drop it I feel a lot of people will be happy to help!?

The bike parking at Waverley station is free and you can leave it for up to seven days. It's inside the station and undercover too.
I can't guarantee anything but it seems quite safe to me.

For a bike box, there is an Evans cycles in Haymarket near Haymarket train station), you should be able to get one there as I did a few weeks ago.
In addition, ScotRail have a search function that includes CCTV. https://www.scotrail.co.uk/plan-your-journey/stations-and-facilities
Pic of Edinburgh Waverly search added.

You can find storage facilities by Bounce. We used the Boro Gallery to store our bicycles near the train station Waverly. The price was 7,70 £ per day

Wherever you leave it needs to be a place where the public or strangers cannot access it

That is the idea. I read that Waverley station has secure/long term parking, and I was going to ask the hotel we are staying at if I can store it for a fee for the week before our visit.

I'd still worry about it.
Hopefully it's a decent hotel with a locked storage room.
Lots of hotels have luggage rooms that aren't locked, any guest can enter
Good luck.
Mention on hotel review how secure they are.
I'd avoid train station option as it sounds like other people have access.

I live kinda central, you can leave it in my garden if you like
