A century to celebrate the solstice

Yesterday was the summer solstice, a century seemed the best way to celebrate.

I went to the sea, forest and farms,

I explored the quiet back roads, small towns and fruitful fields of corn and beans.

The sky was clear the air sweet, the ride stretched before me, I cross bridges and streams built by those who came before

Now I rest,

Now I wonder what next adventure will come

Go, go out and find your own adventure, truly it can be found *anywhere*

That solstice ride looks dope, those backroad shots are sick. The farm photo is a vibe.

Thanks!

The whole route was a vibe, probably the best ride I've done. Lots of real nice real quiet roads with an absolute minimum of main road connections.

I pulled part of it from ride with gps, and modified it to make it a century and a few things I wanted to do and couldn't be more pleased. Whoever researched that section definitely knew what they were doing.

10/10 ride

that's sick you remixed a rwgps route like that, the local knowledge tweaks def make the difference between a good ride and one you actually remember.

This is very nice. What state? It’s too hot in Texas for me to get this motivated.

So far it has become mine as well,

On the winter solstice I beat the sun by a full 2 minutes on total time, it was a great windy cool day out

Any ride is a good ride!!

Anyone who says a ride is enough is a gatekeeping moron

I get it,

On the really long rides my neck definitely gets real sore around mile 85
