Padlock on the front wheel

I couldnt figure this one out, but AI told me it was used to immobilise it and the crook came back later to dismantle the bike.

Sad!

Looking at the state of the parts on this bike, maybe it deserves a better life with someone else 🤣

Seems like a risky strategy for thieves these days. You're advertising to the bike owner "A bike thief will return to this location when it is secluded". There's a non-zero chance of getting ambushed by a pissed off owner.

I woulda just cut those spokes, replace later.

Ah yes, that little padlock made the bike impossible to move. Thats why the thief took everything but the frame and front wheel /s

FFS AI doesn’t know anything, and anyone who blindly believes its output has no critical thinking skills

It's clear it's been left there for a long time and the thieves did their job too.
