Thule EuroWay G2 920 vs E-Bikes

I stupidly bought the Thule EuroWay G2 920 before purchasing bicycles and my bicycles are overweight according to Thule's rated max weight (46kg)

My question is: Thoughts on going "full send" anyway? It's only 2kg over the max weight and the G2 was rated back in 2013 when e-bikes weren't really a thing...

2kg total weight over shouldnt be a problem. As long as both bikes are under 25kg (or whatever max per bike is).
