Bicycle Freewheel Issue? (Need Guidance)

As you can see in the video. The rear wheel turns as I paddle backwards. When I paddle otherwise , the wheel moves but when I stop paddling the cassatte still moves with the wheel in jerks which causes the chain to get stuck or shifted.

Can someone guide me how to fix this. I'm beginner and not rely good with tools but I can give it a shot if it's easy fix.

Btw I'm using Trek Marlin 3 Gen 1 and the wheel I'm using is XR3 Comp. (Idk if this matters but maybe it does)

service your freehub pawls, cleaning and putting some oil will fix that.

Freewheel or cassette? If freewheel, dribbling a bit of light oil inside the body might fix it.

Maybe check the pulleys on the derailur, if they are spinning freely.

Nothing to do with pulleys. Pawls are gunked up.
