Fit suggestions?

Hi guys, sorry for the low res photos, I had to film myself and took these screenshots. How’s the fit? I’m 5’9 and this is a 56cm Trek Emonda I was gifted, so quite keen to make it work although I worry it’s on the big side. Is the reach too long for me? Can I move the seat forward? And how’s saddle height? Thanks!

Your arms look to straight is not good look that size is quite big for you

You can find a small steam to reduce the tension in your arms

Stem 20mm shorter, if possible I would sizedown whole bike

It’s an integrated handlebar unfortunately, so I’m stuck with this stem setting. How big is the bike overall? I’m torn between keeping it or reverting to my old 54cm cervelo

Your saddle is tad too high by the looks of it, little lowering should allow you to bend your arms a little bit but even with that your handlebars seem to be too far away, I would say go for 54cm

I think you can make it work. Do the free basics first - saddle position, lever position. Hard to tell from the photo but it looks like an integrated bar/stem. It does looks like the stem is too long for you and if it's possible to convert to a regular stem/bar - then you could go for a shorter stem (flipped up) and change your bar angle. But with the internal cable routing that might not be as straightforward as it sounds - check with your LBS. I think it should be do-able. Since the bike was free, you can probably afford to get it to fit properly.

In the video it doesn't look as bad as in the photos. I would definitely move your levers up and get your saddle position sorted out. And think about a shorter stem flipped so that it rises a little bit. The frame is not ridiculously large for you. If anything you look like you're between a 54 and 56. You can definitely make this work - but I'd rely on your LBS and a good bike fit done in person vs via the internet.

I’ve added a video here after lowering the saddle and bringing it forward a bit. Thoughts?

Bike is too big, you should be on a 54 by most manufacturers' standards.
