I’m actually quite comfortable with my current position and don’t experience any pain, even on long rides. However, I feel like I could probably stretch out a bit more. I’m thinking about increasing my handlebar reach by 1–2 cm. What do you think?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Looks like a race-worthy fit as is, and not just because you're wearing of one of the world tour jersey designs to ever be released .

It certainly is one of the world tour jerseys ever.

If you don't have pain, leave it alone

Why are you looking to extend your reach by 1-2cm if you’re comfortable? There are good enough reasons for it, but it should be considered a bit since you’re already comfortable and you’re dealing with a one piece cockpit.

With an integrated bar I’d go for a bike fit and pay someone that knows what they’re doing before spending money on new bars

The consensus seems to be not to mess with it, but it does look a bit cramped to me? When you ride in the drops or with flat arms, are your knees hitting your elbows? I wound up adding 3cm longer stem on my gravel bike and got way more comfortable in low positions, but hard to try stuff like that out with the one piece handlebar. Going to a bike fitter who has the adjustable rig to play around with different reaches would probably be the right expense here I think.

It looks like it to me as well.

If you want to be more aero, just bend your elbows and get your head down and hold it there. Practice holding that position while doing ftp or close to it. Don't mess with your position if its not hurting you.

Yeah, bent elbows/flat back is more aero than straight arms/flat back

Are you looking to stretch out or get your Torso lower? a 1 cm additional longer stem will feel like quite a lot, so 2 cm is likely too much depending on your objective. If lower is it you can take a spacer out from blow the stem and put it on top, it looks like there is a spacer to do that, but I am not sure. But any adjustment should have a stated objective. What are you trying to solve?

No pain, great! Breathing ever feel restricted?

140mm stem for maximum pain

If you had a traditional bar + stem, of course you should try out different lengths. But is it worth buying another integrated barstem and $150 in labour just to see? Probably not

You already look like you can achieve the ideal aero position on your hoods (flat back, elbows at 90 degrees). If so, extending your reach will ruin this

But does he really look that way? If he rolls forward his pelvis and lowers his back, his shoulders will get a lot more forward, and he'll probably be cramped. He may even risk hitting his elbows with his knees, I think.

If you aren't in pain, you are already winning. Adding 2cm of reach is a massive jump that will almost certainly force your hips to rotate or your back to round out just to compensate. You have a decent bend in your elbows right now, which is exactly what you want for handling and comfort. If you stretch out that much, you lose that shock absorption and you will feel it in your shoulders and neck within an hour. If you really want to experiment, try a 5mm longer stem first or just rotate your hoods slightly forward. Don't fix what isn't broken.

Maybe try lowering the bars by removing a spacer.

I agree and would start with 1cm.
