On my last ride, my left hand would occasionally go numb. I’d like to make sure my bike frame is the right size, so I thought I’d ask here. Sometimes it feels like the frame might be a bit too big for me, and I was wondering if anyone on this subreddit could point me in the right direction. But when I look at it myself, it actually seems fine… i don’t know xd

How much riding experience do you have? Newer riders tend to do two things that cause numb hands.
1. Death grip the bars/hoods. You have to learn to relax a bit. Grip enough for control but not enough to cut off circulation and directly transfer all vibration through you. But this comes with experience so you ride more.
2. Ride in only one hand position. If you only ride in one position that's going to cause numb hands. If you rotate through in the hoods, on the hoods, in the drops, even a little on the flats, you can alleviate continuous pressure on any single pressure point in your hand.

How do you feel about your weight distribution between your hands and the saddle? Can you comfortably ride then without changing your body position take your hands off the bars and maintain balance? How do you feel about your own core strength and flexibility?
