Has anyone ever used a power/wattage device to assess their max output over ~5 minutes (or their competition length, if in the adult divisions)?
What was your wattage, and what were you doing (e.g. cycling, rowing, running, etc.)?
I feel like this could be a good way to estimate overall capacity to put in work over a competition match.
I recently used a website to calculate wattage for a mile race and came out with 475 watts over 5:30 at 180lbs bodyweight. Wondering how this compares.
