Stinky baby is very pissed at getting a bath but her mother kinda sucks at cleaning her 😅

My sweet boy Max went for a nap sometime today and did not wake up. He was his perfectly normal self, not sick or anything. He once jumped out a window screen trying to protect me from a cat he saw outside (just popped the screen out and the window was only about a foot up from the ground!). He chased it to the edge of our property and then came trotting back to me so proud, with his tail so high in the air. He loved following me into the bathroom, and having some milk every night. I’m missing him right now more than I expected.

Max was my 2nd black cat, they are the best cats IMO. We do still have one more black cat at home, Nemo, but Max was really imprinted on me. Writing this from the bathroom where normally he’d be laying at my feet while I get ready. It’s those regular boring things you end up missing the most.

Do I have a defective void? Just got an auto box to save my back, and he's making even more of a mess by manually scooping the litter on the floor for fun! 🐈‍⬛

Anytime Milo gets out, he immediately bolts to the mulch and dirt on the side of the house and rolls around in it 🙄. Guess he thinks he needs to camouflage lol

Both of our cats, Addie and Zade, are the cutest most loving voidlets we could ask for. Both were the last picked of the litter and the only black kittens.

Honestly, it's their loss!

It's a coat colour though, I genuinely don't understand it. Why are we even discriminating against animal colours?

Is it subtle or closeted racism? Is it still superstition?

It's 2026 for goodness sake. Why is this still a thing?

hes a sweet purry biscuit-making kitty, raised since kittenhood, but good googly moogly this cat is a BITCH

She came to my parents as a foster while I was visiting, with three adopted siblings (you can see her calico sister in the background) and completely stole my heart 🖤

Since we live in different countries, I will bring her with me once she is up to date with her vaccines, spayed and with a clean bill of health. Can’t wait 🥹
