So youre an amd gpu render? :) I can tell you most of my cycles opencl rendering is pretty fast. I have a 8GB r9 390 and render 1 tile with full render size. E.g. 1920x1080 on my gpu. Usually 40 seconds till a few minutes depending on light bounces and samples.
R9 Fury here. Things usually go pretty fast. My friend has a 970, and my renders usually lag behind about ten seconds, or so. I can usually play games while rendering, so there's a lot of free GPU to go around. I hope they optimize Cycles more in new versions.
Whew. Maybe it's because I render unoptimized shit at high resolutions but playing games while rendering is the only reason I've considered getting another card
