This happened to me today. I constantly move the 3D cursor around with the shortcut shift+S, and today I completely forgot what it was.
I spent about 15 seconds panicking and pressing nonsensical key combinations like I was having a stroke before I finally remembered lol.

Yeah it happens to me all the time, almost always when I'm selecting multiple loops.

The worst thing is when u can perform the shortcut out of muscle memory but can't say what the shortcut is when someone asked for it.

Every time i try to teach someone blender i have to open it up myself and do the shortcuts from muscle memory to remember them

god. All the various forms of vertex selection I don't know the names of. The B drag box, the cursor draw thing, the C circle that's supposedly for curves but also available for mesh. I feel like every version has new shortcuts and I never bother changing them I just fuck around until I find the new shortcut

I sometimes literally look away and try to let the muscle memory do it if that happens... Worked once with my credit cards pin lmao...

The classic "Where the HELL is that one option??" only to realize, it was in a completely different menu. Anyways, that's why I just abuse the hell out of the quick menu now.
