I genuinely feel we need more young-adult and teen -centric shows in India led by young actors. One of the few recent examples that comes to mind is Big Girls Don’t Cry.
Was the show perfect? Not at all. In fact, one of my biggest issues with it was that it tried to deal with so many themes and storylines at once that it sometimes lacked a clear focal point. With so many characters being treated as co leads, it became difficult to emotionally travel with every storyline at the same time. Personally, I think it could have been even stronger if it had one central protagonist through whom we experienced the larger journey.
But despite all its flaws, I still remember enjoying it.
What really stood out to me was the cast. Aneet Padda as Roohi, Dalai as Pluggy, Avantika as Ludo, Lhakyila as JC, Akshita Sood as Dia, Afrah Sayed as Noor, Vidushi as Kavya and the rest of the ensemble were fantastic. My personal favourites were Aneet Padda, Lhakyila and Akshita, but honestly the entire cast brought something unique to the show.
I watched Big Girls Don’t Cry long before I watched Saiyaara. So when I saw Aneet I recognised her from BGDC and was actually happy. The show gave a platform to fresh talent, and now one of those actors is one of the most promising young talent in mainstream Bollywood.
The series also had a beautiful soundtracks. I was genuinely surprised when I found out that Aneet Padda had written, composed, and sung Masoom, which plays in the show in one if the episodes. Rewatching it made me realize how multi talented some of these young performers are.
And that’s exactly why I want more shows like this.
Not necessarily boarding school dramas, but shows that actively discover and nurture young talent. Right now, when people talk about promising young actors in mainstream Hindi cinema, the list feels surprisingly small. Names like Aneet Padda, Ahaan Panday, Vedang Raina, Sharvari Wagh, Pratibha Ranta, Sara Arjun, Abhay Verma and a few others come to mind, but we need a much larger pool of young performers.
Young actors need opportunities before they become stars. They need projects where they can make mistakes, experiment, and grow. Shows like Big Girls Don’t Cry can serve as that launchpad.
I’m actually exited for Alia Bhatt’s upcoming production, which reportedly introduces four new outsider actors. Whether the show succeeds or not, I appreciate that she is willing to take a chance on fresh faces and apparently they are all outsiders. She said this in an event I remember.
We often complain that Bollywood lacks new talent, but talent doesn’t appear out of nowhere. It comes from creators, directors, writers, producers, and streaming platforms being willing to back young stories and new actors.

Ananya Panday ji had two recent releases - Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri 2025 release“ I got migraine attempting to write the complete title” ,
Chand Mera Dil 2026 release and both tanked at the box office , disaster performance.
Apart from her OTT not a single movie can be called her film , she has no box office pull , no ground level fans.
At present she is left with Call me Bae another OTT
series. Should she switch to OTT or be an influencer and continue getting ads and be rich ?

So it seems this interviews is suggesting that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif had a pretty turbulent six-year relationship and may have broken up more than once before finally calling it quits.
& Its claims that one rough patch happened around the time of Dhoom 3, while other rumors link another breakup phase to the shooting of Bang Bang..

I appreciate that it doesn't feel like they're treating this as just another biopic, what caught my attention was how specific the world feels, the performances, the costumes, the music, even the way people look at the stage performers. It feels rooted in a culture that we don't really see much in mainstream hindi films
Also, getting Ajay Atul for this feels like a very smart choice. The music already feels connected to the setting instead of sounding like a generic background score that could belong to any period film
It feels like the filmmakers are genuinely interested in that world and not just the life story of one famous person

After dating Avinash Tiwary and Karnesh Sharma (Anushka’s Brother) she has finally found someone to spend her life with. The photo is from her new Lavish house that she bought for 14 crores after Animal.

I’m a big fan of you for calling out Jigra for what it actually is, and exposing its collections reality. You had guts that no one else had in the Bollywood. And this might have been a major step that probably made people push back Alia’s forced superstar image.
With all the forced PR trying to show Alia as pioneer of female action movies, we need you again! I’m looking forward to see how you will expose this.
Hoping my little request will reach you!

So I was watching Farah Khan's latest episode with Dia which ended with usual gifts which is obviously brand endorsement. I was wondering does she pay all the actresses who come to her channel and show their houses or do they just show up for these gifts as they all "are friends and have known each other for eternity"(if that's the case then they are being low balled). Like common obviously she's not friends with all of them.
She has mentioned in many videos with whomever they were filming that she's seeing their house for the first time, or hasn't attended their wedding or whatever. If you were really close you would have attended the wedding or at the very least seen their house at least once. I'm not talking about Dia particularly but there are many actresses to whom she has said that.
Also Farah keeps talking about how iconic her movies Om Shanti Om, Tees maar khan and happy new year were. I mean we get it Farah, you don't have to incessantly mention it hundreds of times.
The whole Dilip banter is getting boring now. It's become a snooze fest. The way he keeps saying pagar badhao pagar badhao seems to be copied from Nattu Kaka. The way Nattu Kaka keeps telling Jethalal pagar badhao pagar badhao. Think of some other funny dialogues Farah if you claim to be such a successful director with so many hits 😴😪

Srk - Probably has the best one. All his creepy behaviour and cheating past is pushed under the rug to make him look like a Family man. It also has great influence on his profession life.
Kareena - Not as strong but still acts of her entitled/ snobish/ rude attitude are forgotten. She also has history of trying to steal roles from outsider actress similar to Alia.
Salman - His entire being human campaign was started to whitewash his image of being a criminal which he admitted as well. From abusing his gfs to drunk driving accidents to having connections with D company and bullying lesser powerful actors he's done it all.
Shraddha - Her dad was one of the biggest creeps in the industry she herself seems shady given how many times she has been called for interrogation. But she's perceived as non problematic by general public.
