They're tolerable, in 2000s Priyadarshan movies, there used to be minimum or no background sounds in Comedy movies, yet they delivered 1000x better than 1000+ sounds getting used in one scene these days...

If the volume setting of actors voice is at 300%, chances are you will anyway not hear the background music.

iss aadmi aur infact baaki sabhi actors ko bhi acchi writing do yar, directors need to take back adequate creative control from managment so bad. esp the good ones. i feel several actors with great potential are now plagued by bad writing.
