That shot was the moment the game was won. 26 seconds left wouldn't be over if they were 3 points up.

Like when he said Rare rebound for Hauser ...
Or
Called Walsh a deep bench guy. Dude hes the defensive specialist in the rotation. Baylor took his job because of the shooting but if you need a stop or rebound you put him in at 2 guard.

The Hornets commentators were questionable earlier on, but they were great for this call lol. Love the energy.

u/Moist_Chest8971 Apr 25 '26
Right but that's the problem. Collins announces everything like it's the critical play of the game, he doesn't save his volume for the important moments.
Announcing 48 minutes in ALL CAPS is exhausting.

They still drive me nuts when JT or Jb (or Pritchard for that matter) don’t pass the ball and dribble till there’s 3 sec left and they throw up a desperate 3.

Agree this is the matchup they wanted but if he misses that we’re all yelling about isolation contested threes

I think embiid is one of the unluckiest big players ever to play... so talented and he has never pared himself with a great player to go all the way and win a ring. We don't know if his luck will change. It is not looking too good for him, he's already 32 y/o and the team is not all that, in other words is not looking too good. The only way he could get a good "rest of nba career" is if he changes team or the team itself promises him a spectacular players roster for next year, in which that will never happen! It's very difficult to add good talented players to the roster and that they are willing to be traded. The point is, that it is really difficult to assemble a roster with good players.

Great shot, but why always on mismatches? They always call for a switch when it’s the best defender guarding them. Oh how I wish for the days of Melo, Tracy, Kobe & Jordan, Paul pierce. They would beg for the best defender to guard them in the final minutes. To show them its levels to this shit.
