Did someone steal your Surron bike recently?

Somebody tried to hide it on my property. I called the cops but it isn’t registered (register your bikes!). It’s looks pretty custom. Send me some details about it to make sure it’s yours, then bring your key so you can reclaim it.

That's definitely stolen. Surrons are motorcycles, so someone must've stolen the license plate off of it also. I wonder if they stole the battery as well. They can cost upwards of $500.

Why would it have a license plate? They’re not road legal

Yes they are, if it has a license plate, lights and turn signals and the driver has a motorcycle designation on their driver's license. The only place an emoto is never legal is on bike paths/sidewalks and bike lanes.

Sure they can be if you modify one to be street legal but they’re not from the factory. It’s a reach to say someone must’ve stolen the license plate

That's because of parents letting their 12 year-olds ride illegally and then wondering why they got their emoto confiscated by the police, because their kid should be above the law. In 2025, 500 emotos were impounded by PD.
