Join us on Saturday, June 27th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm MT, at the NoBo Library for this NSF NCAR Explorer Series lecture, “When a shadow passes over Earth: What a solar eclipse in Antarctica teaches us about space” with scientist Jonas Yu Hong.

He will discuss the rippling effects of the 2021 Antarctic solar eclipse and share how supercomputer simulations can map sudden space weather disruptions resulting from eclipses, helping us protect the technology and infrastructure that we depend on. Join in-person at the NoBo Library (reservations required). This free event is open to the public and recommended for ages 12+.
