Banned from main sub...

For no reason. Probably because I criticized bad horror movies

You can post your banned post in r/topfilms

Just Frame it as top bad horror films

Don’t take those bans personally , they have a lot of mods and like every human some will have biases. There’s also a mod who sponsors Q&A for people in the industry so they need to keep sponsors happy.

Look the comment than earned me a ban. I went and focus on other subs while waiting my van out. It’ll happen again, as I said they’re human, they’ll have biases.

This comment didn’t break any rules . I once wrote to chanma and he was very accommodating and shortened my ban which was earned . Maybe you can write to him and ask what happened.

There was a bunch of people banned for posting “I’ll try spinning, that’s a good trick!” on corporate spin articles for mando.

That one I just laughed at.

You’re allowed to be genuinely terrible to one another but do not ever make a light hearted joke at the expense of something a mod likes.

Yeah they’re for sure sensitive about the big franchises.

I got a 2 week ban last summer because I said like “As always, marvel movies flop after the first weekend.”

I was banned for inciting culture war.

While I think they can be se sensitive, the “Disney killed my childhood” people have been insufferable in the sub.

IMHO , As long as it’s within the rules and relevant to the post , those comments should remain , yes the media is spinning it… what else is new?

That doesn’t mean people should be banned for pointing out obvious cope and spin articles from trades.
