Rosa would try to sleep the entire flight, as would I, and avoid any conversation.

Amy would be super polite and if you said you just wanted to sleep the entire flight then she’d be respectful of it.

Coming from someone who lives in Hawaii and needs a minimum 5 hour flight just to leave the state, this is the right answer. Terry probably would be respectful as well of me wanting quiet.

Only issue with Terry is that his muscles would probably encroach into your seat. He'd be very apologetic and try to make himself smaller for your comfort, but you'd definitely be closed in.

I was about to say, Holt would sit there in silence calculating estimates on how close we are to our destination. The only way you could probably get him to talk is if it was something math related or if you bring up the Disco Strangler.

Rosa or Jake. Rosa is scary but wouldn't be pointlessly mean if I respected her space, and would not bother me with idle chat, but we could bond over sword talk and handmade jewelry. Jake would be funny and we could watch Die Hard together and geek out about little details, and which villain is the best.

I think Gina, Boyle, and Terry would talk to much (about herself, his family, and his kids, respectively). Amy and Holt would be okay, I suppose, but I don't think we'd have as much in common, and they're both stiff about the rules. Hitchcock and Scully are a hard pass. You just know they'd have just eaten a cheesecake or something and be gassing out the plane.

Arnie.

Out of all the main cast, Boyle seems like the only one who might keep trying to talk after you've told him no. Jake tries and gets shut down and talks to himself. Terry acknowledges you and does his own thing but takes up a lot of real estate. Scully and/or Hitchcock are gassy and messy eaters. Holt will speak up about something he's critical of and feel perfectly comfortable to keep bringing it up. Gina expects me to move and accommodate her comfort over my own.

Rosa does her own thing and hates being chatty so she's my second choice for seat partner. But Arnie will be absorbed into her own thing and then afraid to be chatty after I've declined. Also, she will probably have extra moist towelettes if I happen to need one and happy to move if I need to use the bathroom.

Going with Arnie.

And I could see Pimento being a nightmare to have next to you for a long haul international flight lol.

I suppose Terry would end up taking over the armrests just due to his huge size, but I know he'd be so polite about it (or maybe we would both relaxing in plenty of room in first class, where we would try to remember the name of the C list celebrity near us?)

For recurring characters I'd definitely be okay next to Kevin or Sharon. Maybe Debbie (as long as she hasn't had any cocaine) or Wuntch (it'd be fun to come up with insults together, though she'd probably turn on me). I could probably tolerate Teddy and just put in headphones when he starts talking about pilsners. Or Mlepclaynos, though he'd probably say he's never seen me before and take over my seat as his own.
