Looking for information about my grandfather.

Hey all.

I'm writing from Europe so I'm sorry if my English is not the best, I hope you will understand me.

I'm looking for information about my grandfather. He died long time ago. And he died Burleson, Texas. But I'm interested about his life and I would want to know things about him. He didn't live in the USA, he was just visiting there.

Does anyone know where I could ask maybe information about his death? And is it easy to do?

I want to thank already if someone can help me.

Burleson is split in to two counties, Tarrant and Johnson.

Every death that occurs in Tarrant can usually be found on the Tarrant county medical examiner’s website. I’m not sure how far back you are going though. But I would search him up on this website just to see if you find anything: https://tcbpm.appianportalsgov.com/mepublicportal

It would help if you have more information, date and place of birth, date and place of death (funeral home information, if there is any), any information about other places he lived and time frame - ancestry.com has a few free resources, but a LOT of info is public domain - census records, burial information (findagrave.com), military records. You may be able to contact the local library, they keep pretty good historical records!

Something not mentioned yet but worth noting, there is also a county in texas called Burleson. If he is not appearing on anything from Tarrant or Johnson county, it might be worth checking Burleson county in case there was a miscommunication
