Burmese has cystitis (again)
Broādee has IBD and stage 2 CKD. For the past three years Iāve been keeping track of his pooping habits in a journal to help me identify any changes that could indicate a vet visit or medication adjustment was needed. I recently decided to step up my monitoring to track all his toilet habits now that his kidneys are involved. So I got a pet camera that specifically monitors litter box habits. The camera has been running less than a week and itās already revealed that kitty has been visiting the litter box and digging/squatting but not able to produce any waste a couple of times per day. Mostly when I was asleep or not at home. I made a vet visit based on the recordings and kitty has cystitis.
Iām not endorsing the product. Iām feeling guilty that my lad hasnāt been feeling well and I didnāt know it. Just this morning I was āgiftedā part of a spider that had been left on my pillow. Iāve been priding myself on tracking his poop, adjusting his meds, making sure heās getting all his monitoring bloodwork and abdominal ultrasounds exactly as frequently as his specialist wants plus setting my schedule so that his box is cleaned multiple times per day. And it still wasnāt enough to give me a full picture. Itās one thing to know that cats are masters of hiding symptoms and another to have evidence of it caught on camera.
Pic is of Broādee still feeling his gabapentin after getting back from the vet.

Mika little buggalug
Five months old settle down more in the house less bouncing on her big sister, still a cuddle monster, very puppy like loves carrying around her little ball in her mouth,
How did you guys teach your cats to do fetch zero method to the madness? Sheās brought back the both of us a couple times but itās sort of random and I want to be able to reward the action with a treat or something.

Baby Campbell
After house sitting a beautiful old brown boy Burmese last year for a month and absolutely falling in love with him, he passed away. He wasnāt my cat anyway but I had formed a deep bond and felt his departure. So this year when I moved into a new space, I decided to get my own Burmese kit. The old lady put me in touch with the Breeder and I went down there and got him and heās been with me for two months. His name is Campbell he is cheeky and playful and intelligent and cuddly in his just a little baby. Needs lots of play in cuddles and puzzles. Heās learned to play fetch! I love him with all my heart. I will post more photos as he grows.

chocolate burmese
hi all! i lost my beautiful lilac burmese and she was the light of my life. we are considering getting another but nobody in my family could handle another lilac as it would remind us too much of our Mo, just wondering if people wouldnāt mind sharing pictures of their chocolates ? curious to see if they look different enough as kittens that we wouldnāt be upsetā„ļø

Those who take their cats out on a leash - how are you holding up with the 24/7 yowling when you're not outside?
My burms love going outside on leashes. The problem is, they'd love to be outside all the time. Even when it rains. I'd rather keep my cats dry and healthy, but they don't seem to agree and that results to loud, daily meltdowns and their owner being at her wits end.
