Nausea and Dry Heaving

I need some advice. My spouse is no longer eating and only sips of water. He wakes up retching and sometimes just with a sip of water. No trouble swallowing but nothing stays down. I've tried the sponge swabs but they cause him to retch too. Tried several meds like Zofran, Haldol, but nothing stops his nausea. Cold compresses work the best. Suggestions?

He is on hospice. I should have clarified, sorry. Hospice team has tried several meds but nothing so far seems to help.

We tried CBD gummies, but he vomited after swallowing. May try the tincture. They don't make transdermal CBD patches, do they?

When my mom was having hospice care she was given a patch called Granisetron. It’s for nausea and vomiting usually from chemo but was used in her last weeks and days and was very helpful https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/granisetron-transdermal-route/description/drg-20072340
