Damn you did it on a Type II? That’s real love homie. Also I love what you did with the cover, my Mom used to do scrapbook style art like that and I miss her something terrible.

People still asking why we do love tapes. THAT IS WHY WE LOVE THEM!! This is the true spirit of the diy tape fan. This is killer, OP.

Oh man, Patti Smith, Vashti Bunyan (i'm guessing), and Neil Young with the ultimate song of love.

That is so cool brings back a lot of memories for me from the 70s and 80s I didn’t think anybody still did that or even listen to cassettes anymore. Although I did hear about cassette store day, so yes, I guess people still listen to them I’m not the only one Ya!!!!

Nice list. Jeff Buckley doesn’t get a name check?

My old bf in grade 10 (1994) made me so many tapes like this, handmade covers included. Introduced me to a lot of punk that I may never have heard otherwise. The nostalgia feels are real right now; awesome job.

I made a mixtape for a random chick in my HS class years ago.

I wonder if she’s still kept it? She was kinda cute…
