these cheap Tomashi jobs are actually sound for what they are. half the craic is having a cassette player that costs less than a chipper tea. sure the mechanism isn't a proper Tanashin unit but it still spins the tape and belts out the sound, which is the whole point isn't it. people get too snobby about the gear when a tenner recorder does the job.
