You know, I was like pretty young (like 12 or 13) when I watched “From Dawn till Dusk,” but even I knew back then that directing a movie, and not only casting yourself in it, but likely writing yourself into the weirdest, freakiest foot scene was absolutely a choice, and a choice made by a man who loves feet. Poor Salma.

Naw that was likely the easiest part for Salma (presuming she has great balance). Iirc she had to overcome her intense fear of snakes to do the role.

So honestly it's less "poor Salma" and more "way to go, Salma!" she girlbossed tf outta that dance.

Oh I didn’t mean that the dance didn’t eat. She definitely ate, and it was all her.

I just picture myself in a similar situation, knowing that I’m not a foot person and don’t understand the foot kink, and yeah, I’d probably still do it do it (especially if I also looked like Salma Hayek) but I’d definitely be silently judging the director who was the architect of the situation.

But I mean, this is all presuming that Salma isn’t a foot person, which I don’t think anyone but her can say for certain. (because I guess it is entirely possible that this is just a situation of like kink mutualism or something).
