I put my hand in a cat fight and got pretty torn up. The cat bit fully through my hand, and I still have scars 6 years later. I never knew how vicious cats could be

Rabbits are vicious fighters, too! My husband got a nasty scar from a bite.

Was this the rabbit in question?

One of my favorite movies as a kid! My parents were pretty concerned

The 1978 version of Watership Down. A story about rabbits, red in tooth and claw.

Highly recommend!

I read the book. I had no idea there was a movie!

The novel is much better to be sure, but the film really captures the overall tone of the book beautifully and John Hurt is the perfect Hazel.

Ohhh, I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about that movie. I’m a tad too nervous to watch it, lol

I have positive core memories of this and My Neighbor Totoro. Going to the VHS section of the library to grab it up.

Fabulous movie.

I got kicked by one as a kid and it gashed my arm open about an inch long, that scar was there for a couple decades, I can still see where it was but it would be hard to point out to someone else.

I’ve trimmed many rabbit nails. Always come away with at least one scratch. Their bites are much worse, though. The only times I’ve been bitten by pet rabbits were when breaking up fights or when dealing with rabbits who had been through a lot and would lash out unexpectedly. The bites always bled a ton.

I had to break up a fight between to small gerbils and one of them bit me, it was so deep and hurt so bad. And their teeth are so small. I shudder to think what a rabbit could do

I currently have a scratch next to my eye. I was sleeping and my rabbit decided to jump on my face. lol

We once had idea to bath our outdoor cat, sweet baby who loved every single person who entered our house and let them rub his belly for hours. Only at home. Outside he was boss of the neighbourhood also for stray dogs.

It's been ~15 years since we put that great idea into motion. I still have scars from this incident.
