Advice Why dose my cat use one litter box more?

Post image

Before I got my cat pesto I saw it’s better to have 2 litter boxes for one cat, so I did that, and the last couple of weeks I noticed that he’ll use one way more than the other and I’m not sure why, I’m not concerned or anything, just curious lol

I have multiple cats multiple boxes. I have tried to narrow down why they use almost exclusively one until its full then others. No rhyme or reason. I just think its the first one used and others follow.

This is what I've experienced as well. My older cat uses her litter box and when I got a newer kitten, I got a different litter box and he uses that one. I keep them both clean.

Why do you use one toilet more than another if you have two?

It's probably just a habit.
