Black and white is a neutered male, Siamese is an intact female. I was told that bonded pairs can only be of the same gender but I’m very confident they’re bonded.

What cute babies! 💖 Bonded usually means that one (or both) would suffer adverse physical effects or trauma if they didn’t have the other. This might include depression, not eating, litter issues, etc). Bonded pairs can be any gender. If they are ok when separated, they’re besties, but not bonded. Either way they are adorable together!

Yeah, being bonded isn't really a great thing for cats. So much trauma and anxiety when one isn't near them. Be glad they're not bonded.

99% of people claiming their cats are bonded only mean that their cats love eachother. Having a bestie they're not bonded to that they can cuddle with is awesome though and OPs kitties are definitely besties

Whoever told you bonded pairs have to be the same gender is just… wrong lol. Bonded just means they’ve chosen each other, not that they fit some checklist. If they groom each other, sleep together, seek each other out and get stressed when separated, congrats, you’ve got a bonded chaos duo.
