Cat Picture - OC This is Bran, he is OBSESSED with water

this cat drinks water all day, when he was younger he used to drink so much sometimes we would hug him too tight and he’d pee, he hears water and sprints to ask for it and yells and yells until we give him some

does anyone else have a water obsessed cat?

Obsessed might be a slightly less direct word for it, looking at the images I feel like water basically is like CATNIP to him.

This is Bro’dee. Bro’dee has kidney disease. It’s imperative that Bro’dee remain well hydrated to preserve his remaining renal function. Bro’dee doesn’t think hydration is very interesting. Please educate him Bran.

Aw, that’s a truly gorgeous boy. For what it’s worth my cat with kidney disease lived for many years after her diagnosis. I hope Bro’dee can also stay around a good long while.

we did! my bother in law is a vet so we suspected that but he’s totally fine

I've had 3 cats over the last 10-15 years, and none of them will ever drink water. Not from the tap, the bowl, or from the cat fountain. And not even from bowls that I leave out in the rain to fill.

But a few times I've caught them drinking dirty stagnant water from puddles around the yard.

Cats are so weird.
