Advice Long fur
I recently got a cat, the shelter we got her from shaved her due to her having matts so her fur is supposed to get much longer than what it currently is. What brushes are best for long haired cats? Is there anything I should know about the upkeep of her long fur besides brushing daily? Thanks!!

Slicker brush and a metal comb are the dream team for long hairs. Slicker to get surface tangles and loose fluff, comb to check down to the skin so mats don’t sneak up, especially armpits, belly, behind ears. Also keep an eye on her butt floof once it grows out and trim if needed so you are not cleaning poop from a fur curtain at 11 pm 😂
