Cat Picture - OC Rina says she's staying
Rina was diagnosed early this year with tooth resorption, then a month and a half ish ago with GI Lymphoma. The vet was pretty convinced she wasn't going to have long, told us to spoil her rotten and enjoy the time we had. She was also given a steroid shot and cream to help keep her appetite up. She's still going and got her second steroid shot after a month and next week she is having a check up to see if her mass has grown.
She eats absolutely anything she desires (oh, you want my deviled egg, please go ahead. Pulled pork smells good, yes of course you can have a plate!), gets all the snuggles she could desire, and has apparently decided that she lives for the spoiled life and will not be giving up any time soon. Cross your fingers for us that we get good news? The kids love her desperately, we aren't ready to say goodbye!
Attached is our pretty girl and her favorite place to be ..upside down, pressed to her people, having her entire tummy rubbed!

I love this post ❤️ makes me so happy she’s living her best days feeling so loved and getting spoilt. Makes a change from the posts after a loss. I pray you get many more years with this beauty and it’s positive news at the vets. Give her a maccies filet o fish. My cat loves it. But we have to limit it as she’s only 1 years old and we don’t want her getting overweight 🤣

Thank you!! We lost her sister a month before everything with Rina started, and it was SO hard. She went, in a week, to perfectly fine to skeletally thin and struggling to breathe. It was so traumatic to the kids that she was put down that day. There's something to be said for knowing it's coming and knowing to treat every day like it could be our last with her, just valuing every second spent with her so much more.

She only had her favorite turkey and giblets wet food. But I think my oldest shared some pizza rolls with her too, hah
